Others

There are several other hotels and inns in the area, as well as AirBnB and VRBO options. Feel free to explore! However, please keep in mind that there are no Uber or taxi services available in the Lake Sunapee area, so you will need to drive yourself to/from the wedding.

Depending on where people land, we will try to add more shuttle stops, so keep us posted!

Travel

Fly

The closest major airport is Boston-Logan (BOS), and it’s a 1.5 hour drive to New London. There is a smaller regional airport in Manchester (MHT) just under an hour away.

Once you land, we recommend renting a car and driving up. It’s the easiest way to get to the Lake Sunapee area, and you’ll want a car to get around once you’re here.

That said, there is also the Dartmouth Coach +, a bus service that runs from the Boston airport to New London (and Hanover). However, the New London bus stop is simply a parking lot near the highway, so you would need someone with a car to pick you up. This would be a great option for solo travelers meeting family or friends who already rented a car!

Drive

From Boston, head north on I-93 to I-89, and New London is right off Exit 11.

From NYC, fight your way out of the city any way you can, get yourself to New Haven (Jordan’s partial to I-95), then take I-91 north towards Vermont. You can get off around Claremont, NH and take back roads, or stay on the highway till you get to I-89 and head back south to exit 12.

From Pittsburgh, Will & Frances, you’re on your own!
